I don't think its any secret that I love to read as much as I love to write. I am typically reading no less than two books at a time. While its true that lately its taken me far longer to read through a book than before I had kids, I find that I simply cannot not read.
While perusing my book selves (and Kindle), I ran across some "old friends"...and new ones that I can't wait to try.
That is why I wanted to create this list of books every Christian should read.
In addition to the books I've been waiting to read, here are some books I think every Christian should read at least once.
These books have shaped my personal walk with Christ and have become landmarks in my journey with the Lord. I encourage every Christian to get them and add them to their regular reading.
20 Books Every Christian Should Read
Many of these books I've read more than once. Some of them I read regularly, because the message of them is timeless and grows with my growing spiritual maturity.
While no book can replace the Bible, it is imperative that we invite great men and women of God - trusted men and women of God who have endured in their walk with Christ - to speak into our lives. Hebrews instructs us in this.
